Our organization Grandparents Rights for Nova Scotia Association promotes, supports, and assists grandparents and their families in maintaining or, when necessary, re-establishing family ties in situations where family relationships have been disrupted by circumstances such as parental divorce. We endeavour to help achieve stability in family ties, especially those ties between grandparents and their grandchildren.
Our association is committed to raising public awareness about the important issue of grandparents rights. We solicit widespread support for entrenching the right for a relationship between children and their grandparents to be present in their lives to make the life cycle complete.
Members of our Executive are available to speak to various groups or organizations interested in learning more about the topic of grandparent rights and the work of our association. Should your group or organization wish to consider inviting one of us to speak see the Contact Us page.
