Barb Acker says...I have no excess to my grandkids who I love dearly I don't know where I can turn for help
Hi I need to have your email address
Please add me to your e-mail contacts.
For almost 10 years I have been maintaining contact with our Grandchildren and it has been an expensive and 'rocky' road.
At this point we have lost two of them and are trying to maintain contact with a third one (Age 9, Boy) who has been adopted for the second time. And, we have been 'cut off' again.
We do not live near and the grandchildren are scattered across the country. This doesn't make things easier by any means.
There are a few 'good people' in the 'system' trying to do a decent job. That is part of the problem, it is a job, and many of them are inexperienced or 'burnt out'.
I am wondering if it is difficult to obtain Grandparents rights if we live in the United States (Missouri), and our grandson lives in Nova Scotia. Do you have any contact information to offer? Or any advice?

Good Morning, I am happy to see this change has taken place regarding seeking legal access grandchildren. I thought I would never be in this sitituation. Unfortunately after the death of my son, I find myself having to fight to see my grandchildren. I am new into this and need some advise on how to proceed.
